Internal Anticorrosion Epoxy Liquid Spray Coating Line with high-pressure airless spray
The internal coating of line pipe serves as a critical anti-corrosion barrier, isolating the steel surface from transported media such as oil, gas, and water to prevent chemical and electrochemical corrosion. It also reduces flow resistance, maintains product purity, inhibits scaling and deposit buildup, and ultimately extends pipeline service life while lowering long-term operating and maintenance costs.
The coating system typically consists of a multi-layer structure applied over a meticulously prepared surface.
After abrasive blast cleaning to achieve optimal anchor profile and cleanliness, a liquid epoxy primer—often a two-component, high-performance formulation—is uniformly sprayed onto the interior surface. This primary layer provides chemical resistance and adhesion, and may be supplemented with functional topcoats for enhanced abrasion or fouling resistance. The applied coating is then cured to form a continuous, smooth, and durable protective lining.
